Groups

I facilitate various events and courses in group format. These can incorporate a variety of different elements including: meditation – lying down, sitting or walking, mindful interactive practices, creative movement, Focusing, presence in nature, silence, sharing of experience and doing things together as a group. I create spaces where one can be as one is, letting go of trying and listening into what is good for oneself in that moment.

I find it meaningful to support the possibility of:

  • gradually deepening into embodied presence
  • landing into being instead of trying to achieve
  • resting in present-moment experience, however it is, without fighting against it
  • letting something within find its own way deeper, towards what is calling us
  • giving space for what in us might need to shift, open up or land into its own place
  • seeing more clearly and with gentleness what happens within, for example when in interaction with others
  • being together whilst staying present in oneself, not needing to try to be anything
  • finding one’s own way of connecting with nature and being supported by that
Nature connection in a wilderness in Lapland.

I guide deep rest meditation days, which offer the possibility of finding a natural way into meditation through rest. The days are an opportunity to rest into being; a space to connect with oneself and what is important, to hear a call towards something deeper. We can encounter this moment as it is, and something inside us can guide what is good to move or open now. You can meditate lying down, or of course, also sitting.

Mindful interactive practices (influenced by Insight Dialogue) combine meditative presence and interaction. The practice is often done in pairs. The presence of the other supports one’s own presence and the exploration of one’s own experience and various themes. The practice also provides an opportunity to see more closely what happens within us during interaction. I guide mindful interactive practices e.g. in Nirodha.

I also facilitate events in natural environments, such as mindful forest walks, where shared silent presence and various exercises support a deeper connection with nature.

My Focusing courses offer a chance to dive into the world of Focusing and learn Focusing as a method which one can use reciprocally with a partner or also on one’s own.
